“Change what cannot be accepted and accept what cannot be changed.”
― Reinhold Niebuhr

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Read 2,000 books”

-Werner Herzog

I don’t have much to say today.

It was a gorgeous day.

The Webb telescope is 99% to its destination orbit.

I think soy sauce is my favorite condiment.

I wish all books came with those silk bookmarks. Like 5 of them per book!

Peanut butter and jelly is literally a miracle combination.

Exercise:

Reject binary conversations. Completely and utterly reject them. Even if someone is asking your favorite sports team, take the conversation deeper. Force it. Nothing is that simple and if left to “this or that/yes or no/all or nothing” oversimplifications the conversation has no value. Practice this until it is reflex. Since adopting this tactic I have noticed 2 wonderful results. 1; my conversations are of much higher quality and far more enjoyable. Or 2; people stop bringing nonsense conversations my way because they know I am going to take it to task. Win win.

When you say, I don’t have much to say today, I disagree. It’s not the words, it’s the content, well actually it’s the vibe…
